D’Eon’s Ready-to-Bake Rappie Pie
One of the biggest advantages of a D’Eon’s rappie pie is that the hard part is already done.
The potatoes have been prepared, the mixture assembled, and the pie is ready for the oven. What it still needs is time — because even when the preparation is taken care of, râpure still benefits from a good, slow bake.
Keep the pie frozen until you’re ready to cook it and follow the baking directions on the package for the size and variety you purchased.
A Few Tips
- Give yourself enough time. Rappie pie is easy to prepare, but it still isn’t a quick meal.
- Follow the package temperature and cooking time closely.
- Look for a nicely browned top and a pie that is fully heated through.
- Let it rest briefly after baking before serving. It makes portioning easier and gives everything a chance to settle.
And then comes the important part: serve it the way you like it.
Butter, molasses, chow chow, hot sauce — or nothing at all.
Always follow the preparation and food-safety instructions printed on your D’Eon’s package.
